@bretth - I hope you ordered it from https://acsbyroman.com/mr12volt/ (as I did) as @Roman ACS will provide tech support if necessary and answer all your questions. He will also provide a few extras such as the necessary spacers for the board you will if you have satellite radio. I installed mine a few weeks ago and so far I am truly impressed with everything and how it works. He also has a FB group that has a lot photos and other users answering any questions that might arise.

NM Automotive is great and responsive... but ever have to deal with returning anything? A very small island off the coast of the UK. Costs >$100 to return anything.

Mr12volt has 3 camera inputs and a signal wire input.
Finally able to tear the dash apart and troubleshoot. It was the ribbon cables, one of which had loosened or become crooked. Once that was straightened out, latched in properly, the PCM 3.1 sprang back to life. Each time you tear the dash apart, reassembly seems to get easy. Don't want to do it again, ever, regardless of it getting easier!
Received my CHSTEK unit today, super quick from China, I think it helps that they go through customs here. The build quality seems great. (***** and buttons) I love the big screen and the units are super skinny so install should be cake.
Looks relatively plug and play, stay tuned for updates once installed.
Just finished a CarPlay retrofit with actual Porsche PCM 4 with Carplay. Done and Dusted!
No easy, or cheap, but it's the real deal if you want wired carplay and full factory integration.
Congrats on getting that done, and I admire your technical acumen in figuring that all out.
However, I had wired OEM CarPlay in my 2019 718S Cayman with PCM 4.0, and it was glitchy, sometimes having to plug and unplug 2-3 times to get CarPlay booted. I didn't think it was what I would call well-integrated at all, and the integration was vastly inferior to CarPlay in our vehicles from other manufacturers..
Mr12Volt is fully integrated with the PCM 3.1 in my current '14 TTS, it appears as one of the available sources selectable in the PCM menu, it's wireless, and all PCM 3.1 functions are fully functional. It's also under $500.
Simply by changing back to one of the other PCM sources, you'd never know it wasn't 100% OEM.
