Get you BIL and his wife to help you, you will get is done in 15 minutes
Haha. TBH, installation involves pulling off 2 pieces of trim, undoing 4 screws, unplugging a few wires, plugging in the wires to the new unit, tightening 4 screws and pushing back 2 pirces of trim. If it takes even 15 minutes for someone who has done this as many times as Andy, I'd be surprised. Of course, configuring it all to one's personal preferences, installing apps etc can take a lot longer.

Im in the middle of doing this today for the CHSTEK. To confirm the original PCM unit has amongst others things a cable for video to the cluster and a cable for USB according to a pic zedzed posted in this thread. There is no place to plug those into the CHSTEK correct?

correct, only FM antenna, GPS and maybe the phone antennas. My car didn’t have the telephone antenna so I used the included one
Try a full reboot of the head unit, pull the quadlock to completely cut the power and then start it up again. Not heard of the update not working, so I hope this is just a minor glitch..
I did the CHSTEK install, and I am getting no sound. I have carplay working, but both the radio and apple music don't output any sound to the speakers. At first I thought it was because I did not have the small connector from the harness plugged in from the picture below, but then I plugged it in since the guide showed it plugged in, but still no sound. Any ideas what I can check? Again my car does not have Bose as far as I know, although I am not 100% sure how to check.
