Does anyone know what an āorder demand letterā is? My dealer is sending this along with my build and my name to Porsche.
Is this to try and get an additional allocation?
They are a very reputable dealer and get high allocations for GT cars , so Iām hoping that they have some pull.
Thank you guys

So apparently, even at $300k msrp, PAG has still underpriced this car by $150k? Unbelievable.
Months ago I suggested a $500k msrp, tongue in cheek. Seems I had hit the nail right on the head.

I bet you'd still get the ADM BS even if they had priced it at $500k MSRP. I'd be willing to bet that less than half of the US allocations were given to good customers for MSRP (excluding VIP customers) which is really sad.

The decision making algorithm used by the dealer to hand out cars to their customers varies from dealer to dealer. However, the one common characteristic of all dealer decision making is how much they love you.
Now, who is that person in your avatar that is shooting out the passenger side window and what is she shooting at?

Just curious, did your dealer give you a V070 order request status and not a V200 if your order is almost a year from now correct? Or your dealer accepted your deposit and or, gave you the typical dealer Purchase Order receipt for your allocation?

Is anyone getting the watch? It seems expensive for what it is.
Any thoughts on future value? I wonder if, as it is so closely linked to the cars specification, it may be worth getting.
On the other hand, it may well be worth buttons and end up being an expensive paperweight.
We are being asked to finalise specs in the UK, for a Q1 2018 build no PTS unfortunately.I am 99% going black with red indoors, I wanted to retain the standard wheel (without red trim), but been told its a £2,500 CXX option, not just take one from the other parts bin LI had considered optioning the black leather wheel, but think the Alcantara works well, maybe a re-trim if I cant get used to the red when it arrives.

No one has actually picked up a heavy ADM car yet. More and more real buyers I know are just ordering other cars - as more allocations roll I wouldn't be surprised if some of the big ADM buyer's pull out and the cars sit on dealer lots. For once there might actually be some truth to the "Buyer pulled out" story...

$500K for a 2RS? Do you think by the time the 992 comes out. It will go back to MSRP or even close to it? But it wouldn't surprise me Porsche would do something like make these then turn around and make a manual version

Kind of early to tell for sure; but, the GT2 purchase process seems to resemble the 918 purchase process. Which was aimed at eliminating, or, at least, minimizing "Buyer pulled out" stories.
