My guess is somewhere between 2500-3000 but the above Instagram shot is classic example of how speculation becomes 'fact'

Yes... too me it also looks a bit strange. But still, I would be surprised by 2500-3000. I think it will be way less than 2500. Maybe 1500. Because of short production cycle.

Little note: The GT2 RS is as fast (OR FASTER) than the new 991.2 Cup cars around Algarve International Circuit (AIA). Now imagine how it will be with trick go fast bits. Walter was not on new tires, and the pads started to cry after a couple of laps that he was doing in a nonchalant way as he did lap after lap as fast as a cup car.
Slicks give a car a tremendous cornering advantage, it'll take some believing the Cup can be matched or bettered by a car on Cup2s imo.

But they had to bribe 918 customers to do it.
I doubt PAG would start bribing people to buy a GT2 RS at sticker.

They will keep building this car into 2019 just like they will the GT3 and GT3RS (maybe not for Europe, but for the US and ROW for sure).

They'll sell them. Hopefully the numbers will kill the toxic trend of ADM.
