Hi
if i may ask
You dont want to keep the PCCB ?
i must admit these are beautyfull but i had 991 Turbo S and now GT3 RS i did 15 000 on both car and never had to change the pads even less the disc.
Not judging but BUT pointing out that with good maintenance and cooling pccb are lasting a lot !!!

For my intense use i promess you that steel are better than ccb even about the feeling on the pedal especially with endless brake pads.
This setup is around 50/60% stronger in life than ccb and cost 5 time less, just the two inconvenient is the brake pads powder who make the wheels dirty (is why i choosen black wheel :-) and the weight 20% heavier yes

For the cost i can agree, for the feeling i still find the carbon better than steel stronger breaking. But for the lifetime i dont get it... did you ever finished PCCB disc ?

Already killed two set of front ccb on my ex huracan at monza,
the steel is the base but the most important for feeling and brake power is the brake pads
endless brake pads on my ex 991 gt3 rs made 12 intense track days (include 110 laps of monza at the medial laptime of 2.03min)
and it is only at 50% used
Again the ccm is not that bad but you can’t put any good brake pads on it, which is the bad things.
Did you see the gt2 rs lap with walter Röhrl with the oem brake squeeze on the disc? Brake pads was dead and killed at the same time the pccb front at portimao track (all compound was new in the morning) sure that if Röhrl haved my setup up he can make 2/3 more days at portimao with no problem :-)

if you look disc setup on Cup, Cup R, Rsr, it is steel ;-)

I have a cayman gt4 cs mr on steel we are changing them before each long race.
lambo or F. Are what they are i see more of them in the street or service than on track.
The only guys i know that burnt some pccb wanted to beat some laptime with a panamera turbo s he did finiqhed the disc one time but after tones of effort...
i would love to hear more feedback i understand your move but not it seems more preventive than based on fact for Porsche.
What is the cost of full brembo and endless setup ?

As i say the problem is not the disc but the brake pads!
there is no equivalent of endless endurance pads for pccb! Just the pagid rs carbon which is not bad but not comparable to the endless, this one is just MAGIC :-)
also very confortable on road no squeez or bad sound

Have you also tried Race Technologies RE10 pads? Some say that Endless is the source of these for RT. I love the RE10's, but never tried Endless pads (love their brake fluid)...
