clubsport = standard means weight includes roll cage, 6 point belt, fire estinguisher which 991 GT3 doesn't include, they account for 25-30 kg so difference is more than 10kg with same equipment

My inclination would be to have the duct work and the rear lid all painted body colour. The boac accents break up the line of the car.

so could the car at the end, weights about 1420 kg (official) minus 27,5 kg (options)?
Plus larger bodywork, larger / wider wheels... plus larger wing!

At +$45,000 for -10 kg, that's $4.50 per gram. No wonder replacement stickers are so pricey!

Using PCCB on track can be costly...

If you don't intend to track - I would get PCCB's. But don't count on getting the money back when selling the car.

It's a beautiful car aesthetically. Gorgeous!

As far as the inner guts of it for the performance/mechanical guys, the accountants over there seem to have the most power. I'm coming to that conclusion from the comments posted.

They are good at balancing what they give out for how much $$. Much like a good woman of the night...

I absolutely would if I lived in Germany, as you seem to...

Ive had it confirmed Max RPM was originally to be 9000 and this was the only significant change made to the vehicle after the 991 engine debacle. They used the RS fastener in the 991 GT3 RS to improve reliability and they down graded the RS max RPM for reliability.

Shame teh torque is 460 not 480

Weight Ive been told will be greater than 991 GT3 for USA where glass instead of plastic window!

For those who were thinking of trading "up" to the new RS, I have to believe there's more pause now based on the new RS' specs and upcharge.
The hard core guys might or might not, but I think many GT3 (non tracking kinda guys) will NOT be trading in their perfectly great GT3's for a marginally better RS

I want the "Purple People Eater" version, bring's me back to my old high school colour days. The few that are not impressed and have a promised allocation, I'II take it if you don't want it.

It seems that this RS follows in the steps of the 997-1 RS. Only marginally better than the 997-1 GT3 on paper. But I'm sure the suspension is completely redesigned and all kinds of other tricks have been done. I'll reserve my judgement until Pete Stout and the rest of the press drive it.

But man does it look absolutely stunning!

Great find! The video shows the dash of the GT4 running to redline right after that shot. Looks like somebody in their video editing department missed a small detail.

At $175 vs the non-Porsche competition, it's still a bit of a bargain - I expected it to be more tbh, so I'm going to go ahead with both of my orders and replace the 1.3 with the second one.
