Here's the lightweight lithium ion battery option:
Lithium-ion vehicle battery (40 Ah) additionally included. For use on the track instead of the standard car battery with a weight advantage of about 13.5 kg. Note: Limited function at temperatures below 10 ° C.

Interesting that the GT Silver color is a $0 option on this car, but the orange and purple are the "exclusive" ~$3500 option.
Satin black is an option (glad they got away from that gloss black stuff).
You can get GT Silver or Ora ge stitching, with or without GT Silver or Orange Alcantara inserts. So in the end, you have 3 insert options: the dark grey (GT3 style), GT Silver, or Orange.
The "leather interior" is still an option just like the GT3 (not included in the base price).
Carbon buckets are included. Sofas are a $0 option (rip off!).
PDLS lights and/or LED lights are options. Similar pricing to GT3.
There's a lightweight battery option! Looks pricey (over $2500 on Swiss site)!
Lift is an option.
Navigation is an option and it is not free!! Looks like it's over $3k.
These options are going to add up...

White--come one...been there done that. They should have put it out in four wild colors. Orange, Blue, Green and Purple. GT Silver...zzzzzz.

Too bad on the lower redline. Based on that power curve, it could have used that extra 200 RPM to improve overall acceleration and force to the ground. Each shift drops it to a lower power level until 5th-to-6th (where ~8800 RPM shift point looks optimal) and 6th-to-7th (where the shift point is a little below the 8800 RPM redline).

Well I know this thread is going to continue to blow up, but am I the only one at least SLIGHTLY disappointed? 3.9 (if that's true) for $40K more. With options over $200k...I just don't see it.
For those with an allocation, I say more power to you and I know you will enjoy the car. For me, I was SOOO hoping for something that would blow me away enough to trade GT3, but that will NOT happen at this point (subject to change later after car reviews). GT3 (based upon RS info thus far) is just too good a car for the money. Period.

man, i love everything about this car except for the wing... i know its functional, and i know it looks right at home on the track, and i know this is a track car.... but for those of us that would see it as also a potential weekend canyon carver, that's just so much wing... the scaffolding i think is what really makes it stand out to me...
agree with all the comments that its not much of a jump over the gt3, but at $175k, honestly, its not that much more $ either - significant body work, different wheels, bigger engine, etc. Its a lot of money for sure, but for a car that will be nose to nose with a Speciale, still half the price.
Sucks that those matte black wheels aren't available for our car, its a little bit of a thumb in the eye that they got that wrong.
Also, the conspiracy theorist in me wonders whether or not this is why PTS stopped for the GT3 because they were concerned that a wild colored 991 gt3 would just be too close/competitive to the new RS. I think it was a big misstatement that this RS was much more extreme than other years compared to standard GT3. How so?
