Well everyone, today was a special day. Used Masney Enclosed out of Orlando to ship the car from FL to TN. I called them 9 am Monday to book, and 3 pm Monday they had the car. Delivered today, so 4 days door to door. Highly recomend, very cool trucks too.
Picked up the car at a local homedepot, and even had my wife drive it home. It actually brought a smile to her face, said she loved the intake noises, and shift noises. However, she hated the seats lol.
Either way special day, thought I'd share the last chapter. My wife took the pics, she says her car is cooler.

wow, gorgeous RS, CONGRATS! I always wanted that car!!! Indeed a specially day!!! Enjoy!!!
Don't think a 5-year old car with delivery miles is a proxy for the general market. Cars with ¬15k miles / plain colours / low options are pretty close to MSRP. Certainly the more desirable specs are still above MSRP, in the case of tourings, well above MSRP and approaching 992 winged pricing. I don't think nice spec 991.2 GT3s are going below MSRP anytime soon if ever.
Yeah, a 250 mile example would be on the top end of the market for sure. Still, the price, relative to MSRP, is eye watering and indicative of the overall enthusiasm of the 991.2 GT market. Which, as you also seem to agree, will not be below MSRP anytime soon.
Also, just take a look at the 997 GT3's. That's where the 991.2's and probably the 992's are going in the next decade... especially when hybrid's and EV's are the only options.
That's actually pretty cool. While I enjoy the 6MT in my Touring, if I could wave a magic wand and turn it into a PDK I'd wave that wand 7 days a week and twice on Sunday. Would love to know what this ends up selling for. I'd expect it to be on the lower side of winged car pricing.
