This car just came up, I was the first to call but a Canadian dealer seems to be willing to pay list without PPI. The car looks amazing but the price seems $3-5k overpriced based on the high mileage. I guess I may have to eat it if I want a 964.

It is not overpriced considering today's demand. Any halfway decent C2 Coupe for under $30K is gone within the hour of it being listed, over the phone and no PPI. You have to know what you want and be ready to get it when it becomes available.

Agreed, and it wouldn't surprise me if they received a few offers above asking price. Good times for sellers, not so good for buyers.

Despite the higher mileage it has a lot going for it and will be priced higher when it reaches Canada. Buyers are paying a premium for a 93, a C2 and black interior.

Can't decide between 964 and 993? Here is your answer. 91 coupe tip, 154kms, $32,964 CDN with 993 body.
Don't know what to say about this one.

Such a beauty. Mileage is high if you intent to drive it a little. It could be much harder to sell later with very high mileage.

I am not so sure of this one. Price is low for a 93 even with the mileage however a good PPI is necessary. It might be me but this is a broken smile that will take more than the regular fix. looks as though it had some front end damage to push up the smile like that. Might have even set off the air bags.

I could be wrong but something is not quite right could be the reason for the low price in hopes of a quick sale.

That's very normal. The spoiler smile isn't broken, there is a metal bar under the front which the front spoiler attached to that bends upon slight impact. All someone needs to do is remove the black lower spoiler cover and pry down the metal bar which the spoiler connects to. Once that is done, the smile is fixed. I have done this in the past, very simple 30 minute task.

I think you might want to look closer. I have seen this way too many times and it is clear damage from impact and it was hard. The entire area circled was crushed in and pushed back out. You can see the wrinkles in the tub sheet metal. It would require further inspection but I am sure the bumper and other parts have been replaced from this impact. I would also check the tub itself, there appears to be an ever so slight twist to the left or looking at it this way to the right.

Yeah, i think you are right, it looks a little more than a few parking barrier rubs. Also, it seems to be missing some of the underside covers. I don't remember my front diff being openly displayed like this.

Hello Gents,

I am the guy who is "buying" the car. It is at Euro this morning and Tim is having a hard look at the entire car as well as a very good look at the front end. I have been informed that the bumpers on the car appear to be faded. They both may have been replaced at some point.

The PPI at Euro should tell the whole story. I will let you guys know what my $$ finds out.

So, according to Hagerty, a '91 cab is worth MORE than a '91 Coupe... yeah right!

https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...rth-today.html

That's really different than what we are seeing in this thread in terms of sold cars lately...

Anyone want'S to trade their cheaper coupe for a more expensive cab? I'll buy a cab just to trade as there are so many for sale...
