I got an email back that he has quite a bit of interest and a cash offer of $23k. Sounds like it may go for more than the $19.5 on the ad.
Sort of glad to here that as I am really considering selling mine when I get it back and will want enough to buy a more dual purpose (daily driver/track) car.

even with the interior issues, someone is getting a hell of a deal. he may find the car keeps getting 'bid up' all day, unless he commits to someone and sells. interesting that he doesn't know the market at all after 13 years. i wouldn't mind the interior issues, as it would give you the opportunity to swap out for a full black interior - which would look so much better with the exterior.

From the seller:
"I have been overwhelmed by all the interest in the car, first time for me listing a car and my fault for listing it at that price. I have a current cash offer of $23,000. The car's heater and ac are not currently working, the #1 cylinder leaks onto the exhaust and their is a draw off the battery. The car has approximately 25,000 miles on the rebuild with 1992 and later jugs and pistons. It's a blast to drive with the additional 50 horsepower and suspension work done. I just haven't been driving it on a regular bases for many years now"

Definitely not an NJ plate how is he getting an additional 50 hp?
At the original price if it were in NJ I would be there looking at it now.

i've gotten an email back from him also. since he doesn't sound overly knowledgable in porsches, my guess is the shop that rebuilt the engine for him quoted him '50hp' after the rebuild, after '93 jugs and [likely] a chip. guy seems rather straight forward and honest, just doesn't know the market and is probably just trying to recover some costs and purchase price. i'm just too far to make it happen fast.
