I posted the link to the expired eBay ad above. The car is new to the Dallas area. See below.

He is a known "dealer" in NC, but is currently relocating to Dallas. He bought the car from Cali, had it shipped to Dallas, and was back and forth between NC and Dallas since. He did fly to Dallas to deliver the car to Mayo personally, although he does have an "assistant" permanently in Dallas.

No affiliation; this MY91 MT coupe looks to be enthusiast owned given the upgraded aero mirrors and seemingly lowered stance. White/Black is a favorite of mine.

Agree with white/black, lowered stance and mirrors.
But, $48k for a C4 with 95k miles seems steep to me.

The two cheapest cars on Hemmings are salvage title still advertised at almost 30K:

I was in LA a couple of days ago and saw that silver car ad just as I was leaving, would have gone to see it had I known before hand. If the engine was ok I would be interested.

I inquired about this one the other day.

http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/...4/1816935.html

They were completely unhelpful and firm on their price. They claimed they had an interested buyer at full asking. I left them my contact info and told them to email me when they come down to a reasonable price.

Even knowing 100% of the car will be redone it is still not worth close to that for the amount of work that is required and pieces missing. I have no doubt it will need far more than what is apparent . The only advantage is it has the factory widebody parts. But after further review of the pictures I have no doubt this car was T boned on the driver's side and poorly rebuilt. Car used to be white from what I can tell and has a red driver's door. The peeling chunks of bondo are always a good sign.

In the past the conversion would have made it worth less now people are just being ridiculous.

More cars than not lately have salvage titles and there are a number i have come across that at one time did and now miraculously do not.

Whenever I see a car posing on that concrete floor of Beverly Hills Car Club I immediately skip it. His cars are all junk.

No doubt. I was considering a widebody RS build but It would probably cost me less to start with a narrow body without all the bondo.
