It seems it’s RSA week on BaT.. Red with similar miles as the black one but not as clean. Interested to see where this one ends up

Congrats, it looks like an honest clean car, I was wrong when I said it might have front end paintwork. The seller clarified it was the PPF throwing off the meter readings. I almost went to take a look as it was local. I bought in May, have double the miles on mine but paid a lot less. I wanted a driver level car that I could enjoy and modify. Enjoy your new purchase and I look forward to seeing some pics in the future.

^^^ it wasn't very clear about the PPF although I can rarely get an accurate reading when PPF is applied. I thought initially it had paint work as well.

What’s that quote about those who forget the past? I absolutely love my 964 and I am not swayed by the current, what seem to be, inflated prices. However does this graph give anyone pause?

It’s a graph from Hagerty of RSA pricing over time … Hope it is OK for me to include this graph here.

While I agree things may be a bit frothy, this graph is about as useful/relevant as sand.

Not sure why you express this sentiment. I use and trust Hagerty and have no reason to doubt their data points.

To each their own I guess.

We are not supposed to look at the market decline, only the increase! A look at the Ferrari sales prices over the last 30 years looks like a cardiac graph.

It seems pretty unlikely that any 964 is worth less now than it was in 2017.

Not what the graph shows...
Sale prices went up a lot and then came down to a little more than earlier. Bubbles will break!

Thought the guy who spent $220k+ on a WB was the fool but someone just blew $124k + fees on a plain old C2 thereby proving that you are all in a contest to out-idiot one another.

At what point do you just trade for a 997 C2/6 and walk away the winner? I’m beginning to think I know what that point feels like...
