My sunroof switch was not working. I would press down ever so hard, and occasionally it would 'catch'. I knew the metallic portions on the ventral aspect of the switch were OK for I serviced them not to long ago. I popped the finger plate off and the switch works perfectly when pressing lightly on either of the vertical plates - odd. My fix was cutting an old, thin, flexible credit card type of thing. I measured 16.5 x 39.5mm and it fit just right. I placed it over the vertical plates. Snapped the finger plate back on and... voila... works just fine now.
Add: Found I had to cut the layering surface in half perpendicular to its long axis. It made the switch to 'springy' when it was whole.

Bought it an S2 throttle body to go with the S2 manifold I am going to stick on. This is going to be fun
.
Also just received a caliper rebuild kit for a spare caliper I have so I can get rid of the sticky caliper while I slowly save some money to finally fit the 993 calipers.

Took the winter blankets off, washed the dirt off... and started it for the first time since hibernation at the end of November. It took a few tries but it did start. It's running a little rough, needs a highway run, but it is going into my garage for some work... as soon as I get the 924S running (leaking injector o-ring).

Checked the U-shaped fuel line I built with Roger's EFI hose kit. It's still holding up, but one of the EFI clamps was a little loose. I tightened it down, but also could have sworn I tightened everything up last year when I did the TB/WP service.

Emissions test today - first for 2 years. Since last time I have deleted the air pump and installed the vacuum pumped dual air/oil separator fully closed system.
Results now without cat air enrichment are mostly similar to 2 years ago, and ~around the envelope of the last 5 tests on all parameters, HC is down 8% (13% below 5 test max & 29% of limit), CO is up 40% (but only 3% above 5 test max and 56% of limit), NOX is down 43% (43% below 5 test max and 46% of limit). Nice that the NOX is reduced so much - it was close to the limit last time.
Since only CO is worse (and only very marginally vs historical results), I suspect a minor fuelling issue - it can't be PVC issues with the new set-up so other than vapor recovery (unlikely) it pretty much has to be excess fuelling (but just a minor issue).
May need to look at Oxy sensor / MAF calibration and it may eventually benefit from just sharktuning.
Overall pretty happy with these results

Help a fellow Rennlister (Andre the giant) here in Gatineau to finish his water pump/timing belt job.
Everything went very well.![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
Love the 928 sound!
Now I need to finish mine...
Need something from Roger.
I know he is in Europe right now enjoying Porsche's Museum!
Have fun my friend.
