New boots and repaved bearings. Part of my WYAIT tasks while replacing the input shaft seal on the transmission.

Not as dirty a job as I was imagining.

Looking great Larry!

Mine is still up on your lift-bars.

I installed Roger's HVAC blower retro kit and harness and an Avital keyless remote entry and alarm on my 82 5 speed. Both were easier than I thought...

In prep for a three to seven day breakdown, clean, repair/replace of things I can do under hood (intake refresh, cam cover cleaning, engine compartment cleaning; replacing: vacuum tubing, spark plug wires, fuel hoses, heater/cooling hoses, intake couplers, AFC o-ring & mounts) and FINALLY finishing my green wire install, I have finally brought my engine TDC w/newly arrived 27mm socket and 16" flex 1/2"drive ratchet. (It moved so easily!)

I also successfully scared a couple stubborn screws with a newly acquired manual impact driver. Unfortunately, nothing in my arsenal has had any impact whatsoever on some stubborn Allen bolts for my DS door (to install shims from Jerry) or one stubborn Allen bolt (so far) in trying to remove pod & dash for refresh and to install (temporary) dash cap. Time to get bolt removers and a few new bolts, I think!

Started for first time this season. Fuel leaking all over. Found fuel injector tube squirting under hood. Spent morning replacing fuel lines between fuel rail and injectors.; which led to cleaning and polishing.

^^Oil change and parking lot winter 16" FLATS --> summer 18" cup IVs....

Basked in remorse and regret, witnessing the mayhem that the car's first winter operation wrought..

Have CV on the list...procrastinating on whether to slack off and get the rebuilt or do the whole deed.

Edit: Couple hrs later and now they're forecasting possible flurries/sleet....kidding me.

BTW Ad0911, that is just a very cool pic. Initially I was startled that you were holding a sledge hammer, then I realized I was sublimating...

Is that a repaint, or buffed out? Huge difference!

Entered my 87 928 S4 in the Boardwalk Spring Concorso with Jack Griffin. He drove his 89 Speedster. Beautiful day on the lawn of the Dallas Ferrari dealership. No trophies but lots of attention as I was the only 928 in a field of 300.

That was a re-paint. 10 foot rule is in effect.

Love it just the same.
