Picked her back up from Greg's shop - been there for the past 7 weeks and worth every minute. Newly designed headers, custom 2.5" exhaust, 30lb injectors, and a shark tune. Sounds fantastic and lot's more power!

Thanks for asking SanDiego928. I'm fine, it was a rub on my left front that destroyed the fender, the turn signal and the trim piece. The bumper might be salvageable.

It was a school zone so it happened under 25 MPH as I just pulled away from the curb, after signalling, going straight at about 10 MPH. The other person turned in front of me and rubbed me the wrong way.

Even looking over your shoulder before turning doesn't protect you. Remember, in SoCal, turn signal don't exist. And people don't know what they mean

Loaded new items from 2 of big 3 into car as prep for weekend work. And...
  • Replaced Vents
  • Figured out Key for glovebox- will be rekeying passenger door, rear console & fuel cap
  • Found my light bulbs for glovebox, installed and then removed as I don't think it's turning off when closed
  • Managed to open rear console (unfortunately nothing of value inside)
  • Assessed rear headliner for recovery effort from warping
  • Received replacement rear sun visors (& glad they included mounting hardware as I was afraid they wouldn't)
  • double checked new front & rear speakers for ordering (have perforated doors & will mount behind panel in front; not sure about rear as perf on driver side is damaged from PO)
  • looked into gas tank repair
  • window tinting
  • checked how-to on installing new green wire
  • installed new rear wiper blade
  • and checked dash light function as I think I'll need to put in some new ones.

Lots of pictures coming this weekend...

I replaced the dipstick and am posting a tutorial I made to help others with this job. I'm sorry I didn't have the equipment to create a YouTube tutorial.

Got all of my interior lights working (except the rear seat done light which needs replacing) . The door jamb switches will need replacing at some point but was able to clean them up enough to work.

Waiting anxiously for my new fro t spoiler from Roger but that will be sometime next week.

It's snowing and sleeting in Helsinki, so a good day to reconditioning the car's leather and do something about my driver side seat bolster scuffing (typical wear pattern):

Going to use Glipton liquid leather gentle cleaner & conditioner following by using paint matched dye during tomorrow, as this brand has been recommended by other Rennlister's. Let's see how this is going to turn out...

That's a dipstick write up, alright! Though should the receiving tube come loose some of the cautionary notes are on target (shiver).

Today, following fuel filter and y evap replacement, did a rear axle bearing and a shock. Yup 'a' shock...going in for the other tomorrow, hopefully.
Nothing shall be said about the near existential spring-missile event....

I'm getting to the part where I have no choice but to tackle the jobs I've been procrastinating on because I don't like the idea of doing them....but they are just getting stacked with the new season's don't-wannas, so in I go. Vac pods soon!

By the way, I did the new dipstick/oil cap as well, sadly my prefinishing must've been lackluster, as a mere couple months later they look pretty much like theo ones the replaced. My car isn't on a concourse trajectory though!

I took her out to the ski area in the dry weather and filled the tank on the way home. Does that count?

Pics or it didn't happen.

Uprated injectors solely for the exhaust and tune, or did you previously do cams?
Do you know what the resulting WOT duty cycle rate is for the 30 lbs?
