Thank you Malcolm.

I should have some news from Roger soon. No problem.

It just gives me some time to do more cleaning.

Also, I have the air pump all in pieces to change the front bearing.
Now I need to find how to put all that back together! I have a good idea but not sure about where the three big copper washers go.

Maybe someday, I'll take that one out when I'll put an X pipe.

Nothing. But I did talk to Gerard & Keala at Motor Werkes earlier today and Eleonore just might be coming home Thursday! And in driving condition, too! (Woo-hoo!)

Anyone need rear pads? Have 2 sets to fit:

**Porsche 928 S 1980-85 Rear **
944/944 S (non-turbo) 1983-89 Rear
924 S (16V) 1985-89 Rear
924 Turbo 1978-82 Rear

RS44 street/track pads, bought for 196 - I will sell em BRAND NEW 115 - have 2 sets.
This post would get lost in the for sale section, great deal.

Finished up dash and pod install and did system checks on all pod switches, gauges etc. all good.

For the heck of it, I turned the key and it started on the first crank after sitting for 6 months. Yes Yes yes! I love that sweet rumbling. Shut it down after ten seconds or so. Just wanted to hear its voice, I was getting lonely

Got my '86.5 auto out of storage and tagged. Sailed through smog even after sitting for a year.

Still have to strap a X-pipe back on it and get the A/C working again...

I had forgotten how much I like hitting the kickdown switch on a chipped S3!

Unhappy

I have bitten all my nails off with anxiety.

Its been 7 months since I put her into storage. Just the thought of her sitting all alone in the dark, gathering dust, hoses crumbling, rust growing has left me in despair.

So in answer to your question.................I shed some tears on a photo of her.

Its amazing how difficult it is to ask my first wife if I can leave her at home with the screamin kids to travel 3 hours to visit my second wife......

Come on builder, finish that house....I'm dying here.
