Small stuff.
Reinforced/braced the 'sag' of the front spoiler by the attachment points just fore of the front wheel.
Fabbed an attachment point to secure the Lloyd's mat from 'creeping' at the lateral aspect of the mat by the hatch switch cover box.

Still sanding, hope to have it painted in a month. Color was originally silver. Someone did a really crappy white paint job along the line. Going back silver.

Rebuilt the stock tensioner, removed all washers and cleaned and made sure they are in the correct configuration. Tensioner had not been touched since new and was totally crapped up, rubber bits fried and brittle. Looks good and spotless inside and out. New tensioner bolt also with coating.

Spent a little more time with her. Replaced the ignition switch and removed the hacked in push button start installed by the PO. Had to solder the wires he cut back together, then heat shrink tube, then re wrap the harness. Can't test it until the LEDs for the cluster come in and I reinstall the pod.

Small thing.
My new bigger leather armrest from Peter Vik had a slightly 'flatter' black complexion to it relative to the factory base. Rustoleum flat black vinyl spray has now made the base in perfect continuity with the armrest. Had to do it as it was bothering me.

Drove up to our summer home in Maine (100+ miles) and will be getting ready for a couple of car shows next few weekends in Maine/NH.

Porsche show on 20th at Stratham Porsche ( make a wish foundation support) and then Saco Sporit down town Saco on the 26th.

Car ran well, really love how it pulls in 5th when cruising at 75-80! Makes the trip really quick!

Need to clean all the bugs off tomorrow! They do make a mess.

Small stuff.
Had a bothersome squeaky rattle from central air vent on bumpy roads.
Was the armature for the vent door - had a little 'play' in it.
Put a dollop of copper anti-sieze on it and tucked it in with a small screw driver.
Bothersome noise now gone.

Had her just over 4 years and finally got the spare dash done and installed. Also had the center console done. She is just about respectable on the inside

Great work Jim. ^
Looks fantastic.

Me, small stuff today.
Refurbished 14 pin connector finally. All was working well but the plastic was cracked on the male pin side, and though no problems, it bothered me. Replaced with new harness covers top and bottom. Filed /cleaned/Deoxit to all.

I took the GTS out for a +400km trip before the world cup final started; is there a better way to enjoy a Sunday morning?
