Ordered new clutch pieces (both Disks, pressure plate, pilot bearing, release bearing etc.) for my '79 from Roger.
With any luck she will be back on the road by next weekend.

After many years finally got a lift. Don't believe those that tell you this symmetric arm will not allow you to open doors. Plenty of room to get in and out.

I replaced my drivers door handle hinge. 4 hours. 3 just to get one of the handle screws back in.
Then I added armrest reinforcement plates from 928 intl. and put my repaired door panels back on. Super sturdy and no more rattles now.
Then I went for a ride. Good day all in all.

Figured out how to get my Ipad to control my sharktuning laptop remotely, and got it mounted onto the console with a ProClips mount:

Parked the 928 at some fine eating establishments in Jupiter, FL.
All part of the 508 miles of Florida "shake down" driving for the upcoming Sharks in the Mountains trip. Included some low speeds along 120 miles of A1A from Jupiter to Cocoa Beach and some high speeds along I-95 dodging the Sunday drivers

Almost complete with the low budget intake refresh, and TT / flex plate fix. Roger's fuel line kit done, new injector seals done. Will be running next weekend.

Dash Crack Repair Products Kit
Sorry I can't provide pics now, but after many trials with different materials, I've found something to finally address some nagging small cracks in the dash. The first repair came out great, and I will get on to the other two shortly. The products is from Superior Restoration out of Sacramento. I had called them and spoke with secretary, and she had the fellow call me back and answer my questions regarding the 'theory' of his materials. Very satisfied. His instructions in the kit are very thought out as well

Pre-load check on the flexplate during my lunch hour. Painted marks had no gaps so I decided not to loosen that bolt and re-torque again. I must have done the flex plate check and collar bolt re-torque last year during my timing belt service. Less than 500 miles since then and no pre-load???

Drove her.
* Wahiawa to Motor Werkes (via H1 & Nimitz)
* Filled Up
* Honolulu to Kaneohe (via H3)
* Kaneohe to Wahiawa via Kam Hwy
* Wahiawa to Kapolei & back.
Never missed a beat. And sure enough OE kickdown switch works just fine. ;-)

Started tearing apart my 86.5 for paint. The car was originally silver. Somewhere along the line it was painted white. Going back silver. Body is in very good shape. After disassembly I will start getting all of the old paint off. Will post some pictures once I get going
