I do have the bushings. My laptop crapped out so I can't look at the manual!

Sean, when are you and Rog coming to see Tom?

Went to the place where it's stored and pulled out the PO's records. Need to start a list of things to do before SITM.

Jim- those lifters look awfully, uh, dark. Whose cams?
Lifters? Must be a trick of the light
The cams are something I came up with, and Colin had made for us. The two red dots look nice, I'm curious to see how they work ...

Porsche or Ford, the injectors are all the same. Both are Bosch style with a 24ld capacity. If yo have the gen II or III units, there is no real proof that the newer style injectors are any better than the old ones.

Been mostly a lurker lately... :P

Missed out on a 356C, owner wanted way too much.. :P

Swapped out LED's in gauges for new ones which had gone blinky, alas 1 of the 4 new ones was also bad. AAARGH! Luckily had some red ones laying around so put those in and actually like the red backlight speedo and such better!

I would like to thank Luke at Tire Rack and ChuckZ for his initial research on fitment.

Dropped a few pounds of fasteners off at Del's Plating to be cadmium-plated and died yellow.

Light lifting for therapeutic value on 86.5- New battery, refasten a stereo amp ground wire, topped the trans fluid, yellow bulbs in Nicole's tinted marker lights, new fan switch, new CO test pipe due to snappage at manifold..and found it was perforated midway as well. LOF. Cleaned up errant door ajar switch. Thought of putting on the RMB but, naahh..

Note to self to look for replating options, buying new for the bling factor gets to be a hit. But so is accruing enough hardware to get a plater's interest!

Replaced the dreaded clutch master cylinder blue hose this morning. Even with the engine out it was a bear. Gonna see if I can get the engine back in after lunch. Wish me luck.

Thought I could remove the water bridge and get to the leaking oil filler .....not.
Could not get the water bridge out with oil filler in place until the intake was raised all the way up and out of the way.
Knock sensors are toast so I'll be doing the intake refresh as well.

Nice day for a TT rebuild- I followed Dave Anderson's (Sharkskin's) and Constantine's instructions. I had to buy a 10 foot length of 3" PVC at Tru Value but that was only $9..

Starting with a 50 lb 6.7 oz TT:

knocking out the driveshaft with a broomstick (please ignore decapitated broom....):

Last bearing carrier out:

Driving the rear superbearing 8" into the tube:

Old bearing carrier to center the shaft during reinsertion:

Finished TT, within 2 oz of the stock weight:

Old guts:

New guts:
