On mine it bent the ring connector about 45 deg off when tightened (either way). It works great though, the silverstars are pretty bright now, it was a huge improvement.

Tomorrow night is the rest of the coolant hoses besides the upper rad that i popped last week, and changing the transmission fluid. Hoping that gets rid of the wieird clank thats coming out of the rear on the drivers side under moderate to heavy driveline load, its speed changes with the shifts. I'm spooked.
not sure what your relays look like but i made my own harness and used some tapping screws to attach the relays to the wheel well just below the expansion tank

Been patiently waiting for 4 or 5 months collecting parts for some work this fall. Once my Jeep is sold (next day or so), and I register my ****box Ford Tempo for commuter duty, tear down will begin.

Suspension:
Bilsteins Fronts - Welt 250's - Monoball Upper Mounts
Koni Sports for the Rear
All new bushings for sways and LCA's - everythings getting PowderCoated while its off.

Brakes:
Pads all around - need to get rotors all around.
Maybe rebuilding Calipers (dont need it but might WIIT) - Paiting Them
SS Lines all around.
Rebuild the master - been having some issues lately.
Wheel Bearings all around.
Chose out of the 5 sets of rims I have which to buy tires for or get free onew (having a friend working at NTB rocks!)

Engine/Clutch:
Big Tune Up = LR kit pretty much.
Install my Powdercoated cam box and intake.
951 Oil Cooler.
Going to delete most of my vac. system and use my LR Vac kit for the rest.
Should get a new FPR and Dampener....
Remove All A/C components - Install the delete
Belts, Rollers, WP in the near future once funds arise.
Dream about getting a new clutch because Im still on the rubber centered

Trans:
Install my 3rd trans as the current is make the preliminary R&P failure noises.
Install my spare axles.

Interior:
Already stripped down.
Need to remove the like 1/2in thick sound proofing material that was laid down when the PO painted the car.
Get it all down to bare metal, and paint.
Install and make brackets for my CF Seibon racing seat.
Might get the cage installed this winter. 6 Point with small door bars.
Layout guages and install.

Body:
Hope to do Paint next summertime but delete bumper pads and lay some fresh Yellow down.

changed plugs, Bosch super +, the old looked good, but were very loose...
22 lb-ft
Cu anti-seize on threads
dielectric grease on boot contact

replaced K&N with oem air filter

organized all wires/tubing
untangled them, routing them in their loomes, run parallel, cut to proper length, cleaned all connections, etc.
made sure all clamps were tight, and slip on's seated fully
engine compartment looks good

got a plug for the cam cover and a hose hold-down for the cruise cable...the bushing was shot...
decided the old clamp was better quality (heavier, cad plated) so took the rubber off the new clamp and put it on the old...fit perfect...

pulled the instrument cluster...polished the plastic with plexus, both sides, took the 'unleaded gas.' sticker off, looks new
cleaned all lamps and contacts, blew all the dust out...put a bit of dielectric grease on the connectors
greased the heating vents and odometer reset while out...a bit of white lithium grease...smooooth lol

I have a question, hopefully this will be seen

on the boot from the AFM, there is a hose disconnected and the boot is sealed with a bolt...
the hose is dangling there and left unplugged...
it appears to be the exhaust vent from the timing valve...

I'm figuring it doesn't hurt anything, but was wondering why this was done?
perhaps due to the Lindsay mods?

gave it a new coolant cap in the hopes that solves my disappearing water problem. the old one had a small tear in the upper seal...steam easily could have escaped through it.

I bought it from a forum member on Pelican Parts who had imported it, only to find it didn't fit his 924. I do have a rubber rub strip for it, but it's going to need some revitalizing before I put it on (hence the current empty holes). It didn't really fit my 944, either (the ends aren't tall enough) but now that the valence is on, it doesn't seem as odd.

It's WAY lighter than the North American bumper.

Finished building my 10.8:1 compression engine.

It has forged pistons and rods
ported 951 head (both intake and exhaust)
NA cam
oiling mods

this is going in my 83 tomorrow with a quick spool turbo. I am preparing everything in advance of the twin charge. Later this week it will have 96# injectors and map controlled timing.

My car has been either sitting or just making short trips since I've been out of work, so today I went on a little 100mi. cruise to let her stretch her legs a bit.
