Wiper delete.

Tried to remove my left fog light w/o success. Those simple 4 philip screws in the back are hard to get at and trying to gently remove them w/o breaking them is a PITA. The fronts 2 screws have already broke.

YIPPEE last day of summer sure was nice..to hell with those noisy rear wheel bearings....drove it about 75 miles today ... got home early, washed, waxed, tire sprayed, back to black'd wing & bumper pads...even tooth brushed the cracks o'wax out. OH and installed the new rear hatch seal .... So sorry all you fellow CNY'rs but I have completely PO'd the rain gods with all that dancing and it surely will rain on our beauties tomorrow now....

Back to Black makes my spoiler look all blotchy. How do you use it so it doesn't do that?

Like your daddy should have taught you...keep rubbing it... when nice and glossy, get a clean rag and buff it..if it is blotchy put more on... keep rubbing it...

They 'pay' contingent upon finishing position. For example, Hoosier gives first place two tires, second place one tire in each class. You have to register with the sponsor, and run with their decals on your car and patch on your suit. I have no illusion of winning on skill alone, but some people have mechanical issues and others crash so you never know. Hawk, Racetech, Hoosier, Toyo, and CDOC are all contingency sponsors; some payout at regional races, others payout only at national championships.

Got it running! Timing Belt and front of engine seal kits, but then a week wait for a new ignition switch. I'm no longer a TB virgin.

Jim, I had always wondered how that worked! In the series you drive in, what percentage of cars do this, versus what I presume is a negotiated sponsorship, not contingent on the results of a particular race?

Since I got my 968 in mid August 'there is not one day I din't work on the car.Since the ex owner was keeping it under a tarpe in is garage his idea of cleaning & detailing the car was exactley this (cover it with a tarpe).I've been detailing cars for years when very young I'll do DESOTO & CADDY at my uncle garage ,if you think a little porsche is intemadating try one of those if you kind find one.Anyway still took me approx 11 hrs and what I consider to be the best ,don't want to advertize but here it goes( Meguiars nTx witch I consider the best + elbow grease to bring the shine to my standard. Motor approx 6 to 7 hrs and a lot of knuckles skinning. So yesterday & today I got serious, yank the exhaust tip off, clean it respray black + two coats of (CHARCOAL COLOR METAL CAST PAINT) also decided to change the spark-plugs ,one was so loose din't need the rachet on it .While I was doing them I decided to to perk up the the Cover with the porsche script on it,once more I use metal cast paint ,came out very ,very nice. Also clean the floor Matts & retinted them dark grey (almost black) look good since the car carpet are all white.Tomorrow is Sunday I,ll just give it a little rub ,start it and go drive the hell out of it.
