Jon,
Great job!!
As for me, I took her out yesterday (after a few week slumber) for a nice 50 mile jaunt. Actually, I was just running errands and managed to plug in some extended driving time.

Installed new-to-me 968 wheels on my 944S. These ride so much better than the 18" wheels I had on previously. They look pretty good too.
I also spent several hours filling and sandin on the euro front bumper. I thought I'd have this finished in a weekend. I was wrong.

Tiger03447, the TT insulation you asked about is from Koolmat.com. It's called Zero Clearance, 10mil aluminum bonded to 3/16th inch fiberglass and as you saw, it's formable, and weighs next to nothing, part number 04248.
Heatshield in the driver footwell is from the same vendor and is called Koolmat. It's layers of fiberglass and silicone. It's tough watertight and sound deadening. I used to put friction tape on the metal floor so I could get in and out more easily. This stuff also provides good traction.
The gold foil on the firewall is also from the same vendor and is their high performance heat reflector. It looks gaudy but does the job. I also put it on the bottom of my intake manifolds to help shield from the turbos. Again, almost zero weight.

I pulled the passenger seat so I could take measurements for building the base to install the fixed back seat I have for students.

Finally swapped the summer tires back on, and changed the transmission fluid again. Tonight I think I'll tackle replacing the coolant temp sensor so I don't have to kick on the AC just to get the fan running.
Feels like there's something else I was going to do, though... Ah well. There's always something to tinker with on these cars!

Three Wheelin'
Replacing the head cover seals, camshaft front seal, water pump, alternator bushings and timing belt on one of my 924s this weekend as the water pump is over 10 years old now. Total cost of parts: about 70 dollars. A lot of drive for my buck i'd say.
