What did you do to your 924/944 today

Well rebuilt and painted the calipers yellow, bled the brakes 4 times still not happy with the feel of the pedal but the car stops when I need it too just feels a liitle softer than before.. could be cause its most likely the first time in its 25yrs on the road they have been pulled down, sand blasted, painted and put back together with new pistons and stuff then all greased up so they slide really well so they are working properly now I guess.
Then dropped the 15w40, replaced the oil filter and filled her up with lovely 20w50. Dropped the trans fluid and put in new 75w90 fully synthetic performance fluid.
When't onto adding a fully adjustable volt reg and jazzed the volts up to the battery, this proved my alternator is on its lasts legs needs a rebuild but I'm sucking the rest of its life for now haha.
So out of all this not sure if its the painted calipers but the car feels like it has like 100 more HP's, pulls hard throughout the rev range, changes gears like she was new. She even idles better and sounds lovely just idling away, really quite.
Probably my imagination playing tricks but even the missus thinks the car feels faster.... weird.

I've been quite busy, in the last week i've reinstalled the Intake (with venturi delete) replaced all of the ISV hoses, set the TPS properly, installed the intake piping, swapped all of the power steering lines from my 924S (had new ones before it was hit) and the Rebuilt rack. Started reinstalling the A-arms after a ball joint rebuild. Also got the rod bearings installed, oil pan in and oil cooler seals changed out.
Today i get the new battery and i got the OPRV o-rings in the mail. I'm sooo close. I'm excited to be able to drive it again.

Burning Brakes
Arash, unless you are replacing the hydraulic tensioner at each belt interval(highly recommended) you are potentially setting yourself up to have incorrect belt tension . The tensioner sees the same forces as the belt and therefore should not be reused unless you like to chance things. I don't like to chance things. It's a sealed hydraulic tensioner with fluid that degrades with time and heat

installed new front rotors, new pads front and rear, and flushed two qt of brake fluid through. did a little blasting to the caliper to clean the areas where the pads move but otherwise calipers good, pistons moved easily. if more of the caliper was visible, may have cleaned and painted.
also made progress on the power window issues. got a used motor for the pass door, got it installed, tested the switches and voila. pass window now moves but very slow or stops. need to clean and lube what I can to resolve that.
next step? going to break down and order the Koni shocks that can be bolted to these damn sealed struts. I have come to suspect a set of used 944 turbo struts may work, but just tired of looking for a good/known alternative to the konis.
hoping in a week or so I can enjoy that sensation being discussed of the 944S motor as you go past 5000 and the 16V comes alive.
