I tried to reinstall my door handles, I got the original script handle for the passenger side in after removing it about five times for adjustments. Then I went to put the driver side handle in which the PO had replaced sometime in the past with a smooth one. It apparently needs turned a little different...

I'm currently going through a door handle $adventure$ on my 84. You can get that piece on ebay for $30, brand new Porsche part. You have to reuse the roll pin holding the original one in, and if you're not careful you'll break the door handle itself trying to remove it like I did

Just make sure you have it back to me completely rebuilt with proper turbo pistons and high strength connecting rods. I figure 2 months should be more than enough time. When shall I expect you?

I'll do the rest to get it back in the car.

Been chasing a problem with my cooling for months(after I hit a fox). My turbo went and got that fixed at the time but always had issue with temp rising if car left to idle, like stopped in traffic etc.

Replaced all the usual suspects ie: WP, thermostat, fan switch, and tested fan relays etc with no luck.

Turns out was the radiator. The leak was very slight but enough to cause the issues.

Replaced it(the radiator) today and also fitted stainless steel brake lines. I had an issue with my front brakes fading and loosing pedal, on extended spirited runs. Turns out they were the original brake lines and had never been replaced. They were severely restricted)almost completely blocked, as you would imagine after all that time. I thought it was caliper sticking but the SS lines have my brakes performing perfectly again. V happy(till I get the bill )

Today I drove to my grandparents house to pick up the coloured eggs for orthodox easter this weekend.. Drove over something sharp, got stuck in my tyre.. I went around the corner hearing this tap tap tap noise... was thinking it's a rock (they always get stuck in my toyo T1Rs rears) so i took it hard.. it solved the tapping issue but when i got home to dropp of the eggs, i seen my front tyre flat. Some mother Fvck3r left some screws on the road..

The front tyres where due for replacement anyway, but before i replace them, I actually wanted to put them on the rear to finish them off properly.

100% completed the worlds longest clutch and slave cylinder replacement project. (12 months of being a garage queen). Now to deal with a No-start issue (hopefully just a dead battery since it's been sitting so long).

We should have an Iowa 924/44 meet this summer. Preferably after I get my own slave cylinder replaced.
