Yesterday I fixed my busted odometer and now today the tach didn't feel like working.

AKA just another day treading water.

Purchased an engine support from Harbor freight so i can pull the crossmember, and then started on pulling parts off. Got the A-arms tierods off the spindle, pulled the sway bar and found a broken endlink (shredded it). I'm going to be ordering a ball joint rebuild kit since my passenger side ball joint also blew up. Also started draining the motor of oil and coolant.

God what a flippin' mess it is in the lower engine compartment. Leaks abound from the oil pan/oil cooler area. I'm going to be spending a lot of time cleaning. I did get the Intake painted yesterday and its curing. Making some progress here.

Took a two hour drive in my 951 from NoVA to Bel Air, MD and two hours back. I drove on the way there and my dad drove on the way back. I managed to fall asleep in the backseat... I'm 6' 3".

cancan red leather sports seats. this is only one of 2 sets i've seen come up for sale in NZ for the last 12 yrs. comes with complete rear seat (which I dont need/want).

Seems like it's priced about right, though I would offer 3 or 350 and hope to get them well under 400.

Wouldn't red interior clash with your blue paint? Lol

For the love of god. YES. I have a set of normal can cans in my red/black interior 944 and it sets it off sooooo well. With blue paint i dunno, but those are some sexy seats.

unfortunately the money he's asking is the starting bid with no reserve. He has a buy now for the same price so it makes sense to go with the buy now. if I don't grab them he won't have any trouble selling to someone else.

i don't particularly want to wreck a set of pretty good can can red seats, but would they be easy to dye black? and would it look good?

hey thanks I just do easy mods or upgrades with factory parts. have yet to try anything really adventurous.

Ermmm hmm, well they would look alright i guess? but can cans are rare so, i'd be reluctant to do that. Your car is the wrong color for red seats however. Dunno, your choice, but black seats are easy to come by, red... not so much.
