Switched to Royal Purple synthetic for engine oil and Red Line gear oil. Was good opportunity since it hit 47 degrees.

I got called out to work at 3am and when i put my lights to high beam i noticed two large bright spots pointing to the outside of the road. My headlights are stock and imo very, very good. I thought the panelbeater might have upset the alignment of my lights but it wasnt that. When i took it in for work i swapped my stock single bulb park lights to the twin bulb type I got from a 924S. I knew the second bulb came on with the full beams but i didnt realise the difference theyd make. My 80 924 turbo had the twin bulb type too and their spread was very effective too but not as focused.

Said 'hello' to my second 924s and started it up to keep the fluids circulating while we wait for Spring. As expected it fired up right away. I knew it missed me and wanted to make me happy.

Any Kiwis after a very nice clean turbo, this is my mates car he's listed today. Its a great car sporting many interior and exterior bits from the 968 that I bought off him. My mate is very meticulous with his cars having restored a '75 911S and an '88 944 before this one.

His photos are a bit washed out and don't show how good it is in person. Genuinely interested parties should hit him up for more info.

That looks great! First proper decent pic of seen of the stitching around the console type. You only had the upper dash or the lower and glove box as well?

Thanks j1. I only had the top done since the lower is near perfect.

I was a little nervous about going around the cluster as I never saw any installed pics either. I think it looks fairly stock.

I went with vinyl since Rob stated if you are in a warm climate leather is not a good idea due to shrinkage. As for texture, it is close to stock texture. The defroster vent looks a lot better installed than it does in pictures.
