daaaaaamn Spencer!! Lookin good man! Time for me to respray haha!

today I filled her up with premium Shell gasoline, and beat the **** out of her...in a simulated manner of course. I had forgotten how truly fast this car is...kinda scares me sometime.

Soon I will be posting up my next project, which is an LS1 PCM, harness, and ignition system swap, designed by www.eficonnection.com to eliminate the opti-crap distributor that has given me non-stop problems since i did my swap...that'll be fun!

Swapped out both passenger side and driver side harnesses as they expired at the end of this year. Got new G-Force Pro Series harnesses, quick release for me (driver) and the latch type for the passenger.

Next will be a complete fluid change in prep for next year. Still deciding on a tranny fluid.

Default Look what I found when I went looking' for an oil leak...

While getting my S3 smogged, I was alerted to a puddle of oil under where the front of my car had been idling. So... this afternoon, I put the car up on stands and removed the belly pan, started her up and let it idle for about ten minutes... Nothing... not a drop and, yes, there is oil in the sump. How ever, upon further inspection, I noticed something I wasn't expecting to find... check out the pix:

%$#*^@!! Those delrin bushings are expensive, what a waste!

Oops... I just looked at PET and saw why it failed... Dyslexic me put the drop-link bracket in backwards... the clamp was too far from the bar. No wonder the diagonal support was so hard to fit.

Well, I was a blond child after all.

the older these cars get, the alloys will demonstrate over and over just what stress does over time.

today i gave the 968 a nice bath in front of the atlantic ocean. and caught me some warm sub-tropical rays.
