I fitted new rubber to the front sway bar today. I didn't remove the drop links, or I might have done same thing. At least we now all know never to put them on the wrong way
peace

I had the blue car in the air to swap the exhaust onto the graphite car, so I polished up the drivers side wheels. Almost makes me like the phone dials, almost.

First picture is how they looked when I picked up the car a few weeks back, 2nd is how they looked this morning (down side of polishing 2 of them, I now I have to take care of the other two).

put another 120 miles on it and got it some sun at the beach. filled the tank up again, 13 gallons over ~340 miles = ~25mpg, not bad with the iron foot

Always like to see the "I changed my clutch today" posts... kind of like surviving a war in the trenches :-)

Default OEM or Aftermarket

I got the replacement drop link for my 30mm sway bar today. To my surprise, the part, while alleged to be Genuine Porsche by Pelican, appears to be aftermarket... or is Porsche bowing to the demands of the enviro-whackos and not using yellow zinc or cadmium plating anymore?

Not only is the plating different, but the steel is about 30% thicker on the new one.

Hey, is your 944 red? EVERY time I pass through Fallbrook or near the CHP station on I-15, no matter what time of day I go, I see a red 944 going the opposite direction lol
