To agitate is one of a few definitions, others which are more what I was going for, are to rush or hurry.

I dunno, people could mistakenly read it as something in english, like beeline or be lying. Hetzen feels more obviously german to the general eye, and I like that it has zen in it. Already made the order, and spent hours of time on google translate to find my favorite.

BTW I feel like nobody has ever made a thread of a door panel repair/reinforcement. So after I'm done with my project i'll be making a thread on it. Maybe people won't be so scared of taking off their door panels anymore haha

you could make aluminum lower door panels, i think there is a write up on it from a excellence magazine about a year ago. i just cut the lower section of the door panel, then used it as a template to cut it out of a sheet of aluminum, uphulstered it with leather using 3m adhesive and mounted it. the only thing is you have to find something to use as a door handle, like the door handle off of an old 911rs.

Ehh, not sure I'm feeling too adventurous. I repaired the tears around the holes with 2 part epoxy and mesh, then am in the process of spray painting the panels with an epoxy sealant that is soaking into the fiber and making it waterproof. Seems to be working so far, I'm halfway done with 1 panel.

Had my baby out for an extended road test after redoing all the belts, rollers, wp, front seals (including oil pump gasket and FMS), rebuilt injectors (Witchunter in WA), media blasted intake manifold and cam tower and cam gear housing and repainted, ingition system, new seals in throttle body, cleaned and rebuilt the AFM, replaced all areas of the vacuum system that was leaking. Runs Great (with a little hesitation under full throttle, still. Looking into possible TPS, FPR, FPD. Still have to pull the other end out to get to the RMS which is leaking. When the rubber engine seals leak in the front, all rubber seals need to be replaced. Not looking forward to that project. But, it sure felt good to have all the temps and pressures right where they should be and no more leaks up front.

i reinforced my doorpanels but it wasn't anything threadworthy.

go to store, buy fiberglass mat and resin.

brush resin onto back of door panel. lay glass down. brush resin down over fiberglass. let sit in sun for a few hours. reinstall.

did the same thing for my sunroof panel.

Okayy I finished spraying the first panel today, waiting to dry now.

I've never worked with fiberglass before so epoxy and spray paint was the easiest route for me.

My panels are in decent shape. Make me an offer if you want to save yourself some work. Local pick up.
