Hi All -
I'm having trouble with this install on 2021 CGTS, hoping someone can help. I downloaded this file and unzipped contents to SD card: MHI2_US_POG11_K5186_1_MU1476_AIO_20220723
I followed the instructions in the video from post #56 and everything seemed to work fine thru the step of loading the final script and reboot. (see first pic) When the home screen came up after reboot, I didn't have all of the icons that I expected, and holding the Car + Tuner physical buttons did not bring up the GEM screen. After about 30 seconds, the PCM rebooted on its own and started the process over from the beginning. I looped thru this process 5-6 times and was not able to get to the GEM screen. Now it seems my PCM is stuck in limbo. All I can do is keep running thru the loop, and when I pull out the SD card, I get errors on the PCM. Any suggestion on how to proceed? Thanks.
Here is the "final script" screen. It stayed on 0% the whole time but it did reboot after about 4-5 min.
Here is the home screen after reboot. I thought I would see more icons, and I can't get Car + Tuner to work.

Update: I reformatted my SD card, reloaded the files, tried to load the car again, and everything worked! I suspect that my first attempt at unzipping may not have actually unzipped all files thru the hierarchy of folders. I could tell things were different on the second attempt because the black screens lasted a lot longer and the PCM did not loop back to the beginning of the process.
This method of prepping the SD card worked: I downloaded the original 7z file to the downloads folder on my PC, then unzipped to the SD card using the 7-zip program. The unzip process resulted in a single folder with the same name as the original file in the SD card root directory. I moved all files/subfolders out of the parent folder and into the root directory of the SD card.

Glad to hear that you found that the problem was with the SD card extraction process, I have found that the version of AIO you used has always worked...

I haven't had time to physically check it yet. MIB states: Antenna open (which according to tis thread means there is none installed; or not connected). If it matters: I have absolutely no satellite reception in my workshop.

I see, but I would still do the check outdoors or do a physical check.
Hi guys, can anyone confirm, that this is the right cable (on aliexpress) which is working for our 718 as provided at github
As I saw reading the hole thread there was one guy who oidered at ali but it didn't wok for him so he ordered OEM.
I have a MY 2019 and I'm not sure if there is the connector installed in my cockpit (like mentioned here). As I installed GPS antenna I already saw that I don't have the LVDS cable in PCM. If it costs only 6-7 USD I would buy it and if I have the connector install it. I'm willing to build a PIWIS in the rest of the winter for final coding If anyone have a working solution or hints plz pm

From what I have seen so far, on the few NA MY 2018-2019 using MIB, the cluster did not have the FAKRA connector. I don't know if this could be added to your cluster. For the Ali cable, I will let others chime in. I think @Z06jerry ordered one from Ali and the connector was angled differently but that could be modified. Good luck.

@RadonHD The single conductor Fakra cable from AliExpress referenced in github is wrong. You need a 4 conductor Fakra cable. The 4 conductor blue Fakra from AliExpress has the correct connectors but it is pinned differently than the OEM cable so that doesn't work either, If I recall it's rotated 90 degrees differently from OEM..
Like @718socal says your '19 is almost certainly missing the Fakra connector on the cluster circuit board so there's nothing for you to connect to..
