The difference in added power between the Kline Inconel exhaust with Kline OAPs vs OEM exhaust is like the difference in power between filling up with 91 octane and 93 octane fuel! 🤣. Totally agree, worrying about the long-term impact to the transmission by changing the exhaust is VERY overblown. The variability in power between individual 4.0L engines coming off the assembly line is probably greater.
BTW...the Brewster Spyder looks smokin'. Great upgrade!
thanks!... I just need to carve out an afternoon to get the exhaust back on, the carbon tips will go nicely with all the other carbon on the car.

I think to get performance benefits of OPF removal, you need to really tune the car. It makes a remarkable difference.
What header is everyone running with their Kline systems? I’m looking to add some power to the 4.0 and it seems like headers would yield the most gain.

I already have the Softronic tune with my Kline Inconel. Just moved a week ago, but once we get a bit more settled, will be doing the headers too. Probably will require a retune for best results, I guess 😕.
Ok here’s the Kline on the brewster spyder with the collar mod. The collars give it some more character valves closed, ease the transition sound closed to open, and I suppose add a bit of volume. I put them near the plunger pin, so as little open as possible. Glad I did (same spot as Josh’s, video above). Sounds amazing, and that little bloom of bass after 2000 is also now (so that’s a small bonus).

Your posts helped seal the deal for me and I just ordered an SS system
Question: sorry if I missed this, but are the collars the same size used with the OEM valves?
Also, my system is still en route from Romania but I have to give a shout out to Eric at @SupremePower . He's gone above and beyond what I was expecting with this order (especially with me being in Canada). Highly recommended!
+1 reference to Eric. I'm very close to receiving my heat-shielded OAPs in from Kline/SupremePower, which Eric was gracious enough to swap for my unshielded OAPs that I had originally ordered.
