I’m not saying BGB cannot put a manual in a GT4 RS, but this is a completely different situation. In the case of the 991 GT3 RS, Porsche chose not to offer an existing manual gearbox for the engine and chassis combo and BGB reversed that decision. For the GT4 RS, there is no such gearbox…

True....modified Manual from the GT4?
They have a close relationship with GT gears so gearing and gear life can be address that way (Cost not being a problem of course).
Can the rest of the transmission handle 9K rpm? I don't know....we are just fantasizing with this and I prefer the PDK on this one.

And on June 22, 2022 I thought I was getting a good deal at $35K over MSRP with only one previous Porsche bought at the dealer, 10 years ago, until I saw that Rooster17 got his at MSRP with no previous purchase history. So ADM is coming down. My next best deal was $85K over at the time I decided on $35k OVER msrp. there were no stipulations on how I had to spec my build and no trade in required. My dealer had no allocation and did not think they would ever get one. The sales manager was searching and found another dealer who wanted an allocation for a 992 4SGTS which my dealer had. My dealer also had to give up a Cayanne allocation to get my GT4RS allocation which is a January allocation. My car should be delivered to dealer in mid Feb 2023. My MSRP is $163800 after adding in the $1300 gas guzzler tax that the configuator does not show.

does anyone else kinda feel weird about that now? I mean, I assume many of us have$75-100k over and waiting for our cars to get built and delivered. however with the market cooling off and the ADMs clearly coming down, I am starting to have an issue paying so much for the car. what do you all think? is it still worth it? do I even have any options at this point?
I guess another way to think about it is that the value of the car is probably less the day I buy it then what I will end up spending. hard pill to swallow.
IF you are going to respond with, "pass on it and give me your allocation hahahah" please, save it. looking for a real conversation around it.
