I believe you are correct with that about the dealers in Minnesota, your neck of the woods, but not the rest of the country @usctrojanGT3 has already posted several times that he gets his at MSRP. If there is one, there are more.

Its remarkable to think, where Porsche could have been with the 981/982 chassis given its been around for around 10 years.

Yeah, both my GT4RS and Touring allocations are at MSRP but I have a 6+ year relationship with them with 14 cars in and out during that time (including the GT4RS and Touring along with several Macans and Cayennes). I'd bet that around 1/3 of allocations are being sold at MSRP.

He said the GT3 is brilliant but the GT4RS is the one he would take.

Imagine giving the GT4 RS the double wishbone suspension upfront combined with the rear wheel steering. It would have surely beaten the 992 GT3's Nurburgring time and the incoming GT3 RS would have had a real tough time on its hands to compete. Such a shame that Porsche never let this chassis get to its full potential.

I'm sure the double wishbone suspension can be added to the front of the GT4RS, the rear wheel steering no so much.

Bad reference, Japan roads are not real world comparisons. While there are uneven surfaces out in the countryside, most and common tarmac is baby smooth even better than Germany by a long shot.

I’m aware of USC’s MSRP car. He has a long time relationship with a dealer and double figure purchases on cars. Good on him. In a way he’s already paid his ADM. As far as the Midwest goes you do realize mark ups here are smaller than anywhere else in the country right? You keep us posted on all of the 4RS’s that are sold at MSRP. We’ll wait..🤷‍♂️

One third? No way. I bet it’s 10% at best. How many 4RSs do you think will hit the US? 1500? That means 500 cars at msrp? Seems way to high to me. In any case I hope I’m wrong.

I wonder if anyone is going to add the Autoquest multilink suspension to the 4RS and solve the rear end 'problems'?

Anyone tried it on an 'ordinary' GT4?

Yes it would have been nice to have the double wishbone suspension up front and the multi link in the rear but the rear wheel steering is not required on the Cayman because of its mid=engined design which rotates better than the 911.

Default Decal GT4RS in GT3RS style

Morning fellow owners

I will get my red GT4RS Weissach in October and it will have full PPF protection

I like to order GT4RS decals for the doors as per below picture

Do you know where to find those? I like them in “GT3RS style”. Ideally a copy even of the new 992 GT3RS decals

Last question: first PPF and decals on top or other way around? On my “normal” GT4 I found that black decals easily fade after 2-3 years

Congratulations on GT4 RS.

Give Anthony a shout at anthony@carrara.design. He does many livery designs that you have seen here and on GT3 cup racing cars. He can help source the vinyl for you.

My suggestion is to place the decals on top of the PPF for the reason that if you ever want to change then you don't need to remove your PPF. Less expensive to replace worn decals. Of course this only applies if that matters to you.

I know I'm not alone in getting an allocation at MSRP. Have I maximized the sales price on the cars that I traded back to my dealer? Of course not, they need to make a profit but I've gotten MSRP or higher on my GT trades so I'm not really coming out behind there. Any losses on my Macan and Cayenne are deductible given I'm in real estate and use those cars for my business. I'm sure that my dealer isn't the only dealer that sells at MSRP to its clients and even some of the stealers will sell GT cars at MSRP to their top non 918 VIP customers (I know of a few in SoCal and Vegas) so I think 1/3 is a good estimate for GT4RSs that are sold at MSRP. All we hear about are ADMs on here so of course people will think that 90%+ of GT4RSs are selling for over MSRP. We can always create a poll with 2 choices on here and ask who paid an ADM (don't ask how much) and who is paying MSRP and see how things.
