I don't see the 1" lift as substaintially improving my angle of attact still making most driveways a managed process anyway. I will not need the lift loading onto the trailer as I am a Futura trailer dealer and it will easily drive up on a Futura trailer without the lift. But, my real concern is will not getting it make my car a white elephant? That it is a must get option like LWB seats? My build locks soon. What say you?

Get the front axle lift - you won't regret it. The weight addition is irrelevant.

The FAL option is very close to PCCBs when time to decide....dealers have cultivated this "need" on the spec for resale value and some buyers would never buy a car without them, specially the C&C/ "collectors" crowd.
On the FAL it depends how you use the car and where. You had a GT4 before so you already know if this was a problem.

Personally, I never had problems with 981 and 718 GT4s...the 4RS has a bit more front splitter but it's not like 4-6 inches more.
Yeah it will scrape a bit sometimes in certain situations but if you track and/or heavily use your car a little scrape will be the least of the problems when you decide to sell...and you can always swap the splitter.
I have said several times in RL...the problem will be the rear central diffuser channel. It sits lower than than anything else and you will scrape or hit things with it...luckily it can also be changed.

At the end go with what you like and feel is a great spec...forget about resale, there will always be someone looking for a similar spec as yours....even more with the GT4RS, people on the second hand market will make spec compromises.

For my personal needs, i would 100% skip FAL. IMHO it is just not needed and adds weight plus complexity.

But the groupthink is that it is a must-have option, so the box gets checked (for some future owner *way* down the road!)

It's also very road dependent. Where you live and drive can make or break it as far as ride quality.

does anyone else kinda feel weird about that now? I mean, I assume many of us have$75-100k over and waiting for our cars to get built and delivered. however with the market cooling off and the ADMs clearly coming down, I am starting to have an issue paying so much for the car. what do you all think? is it still worth it? do I even have any options at this point?
I walked away from a November delivery @50k over. Wasn't sitting right with me at all. Fairly confident it can be had for much less once the hype dies out, and the 992.2 hype starts to build. My gut tells me a few people will be passing up on a 4RS in hopes that they can land a 3RS...

Secondly, a hard to get Porsche should be worth at least what you paid for it the day you buy it. to someone. that doesnt mean that is my expectation on all cars. this isnt a "normal" car. values fluctuate for sure... but I would hate to pay $80k over the actual value the day I buy it. the point of ADM is to "correct" for market value. at least their explanation. but if the market has changed, shouldnt the ADM change as well?
My guess is no since we all signed something. but just kinda sucks.
Maybe. Or maybe historically, GT cars have been pretty normal cars that also follow a depreciation curve (albeit more slowly). And maybe anyone having second thoughts on paying an $80k ADM on a $140k car and seeing a return on it should think twice if they can afford it.

Does anyone know when the next round of allocations are coming out and how long they are building the GT4 RS?

That's only 20 more months. There are no cars in the states yet. There is a supply chain shortage for another potential 2 years. It's being heralded as a once in a generation car. There are always more buyers than cars. Porsche dealers will need to maximize profit on every 4RS since they are also not selling enough bread and butter cars because of supply chain problems. I believe every single 4RS will have an MIN ADM of 40K or more until they are gone. There will be a few 25K over cars maybe for VIPs (I know of two that could not get them at retail and had to pay this! VIPs!). What you are comfortable paying over is up to you. If you have the money and can get one I would just do it. Or you can wait 3/4 years on the secondary market and still probably pay over 20K with 5-8K for mileage and you will be 4 years older. Still feel better

I have a 2023 q1 allocation locked up. Certainly it can't be delayed that long to push my allocation out. Yeah, feeling pretty good even after I stroked a big check It's only money. Once in a lifetime car deserves every penny I paid over sticker.
