Yeah, and I am sure showing him the car was buildable and awesome went a long way towards getting the project green-lit, as well.

I'm super stoked they managed to rig a manual. That opens the door (potentially) for a spyder rs manual.

Hands down YES.
I'm currently taking better "care" of my current front lip, but that's because I'm literally "crabbing" out of every shopping mall parking lot exit, gas station, and driveway.
