Point well taken, and I have wondered about it a few times.
I also wondered if the adjustable regulators are any good.

Die grinded out a little more metal from the rear section of the inner roof truss. The non-sunroof headliner Roger donated will now fit flush. Thank you Roger. T

Replaced the pass door lock gasket and door stay. Had been using one of those repair kits with the titanium shim for the stay, but wasn't really happy with the action or the rubbing sound.
Removing the door lock was not too difficult, but I found that I had to move the anti-theft plate out of the way to get it out. Access to everything was actually pretty good, cycling the window up and down as required. The door stay replacement was cake.
I decided that the door lock was in good enough shape not to refinish it, but the driver's side is pretty well faded. Haven't decided how to refinish it: Paint, PC, or one of Nicole's Lock Detail kits.
Any recommendations from folks that have done it?

Ordered new sunroof switch, new window switch, new rear wiper switch, new hood struts, fixed a stuck door pin (which explains the annoying door chime) and installed new radio.
Next up.....Fix the low coolant light.

oil changed and installed a new oil pressure sending unit, the needle seems a little less jumpy now. be careful if you decide to change one, lots of oil come out of there!
