How much power is that engine putting out with the ITB's? Is it a 5.0L or bigger?

Looks like candy!

Drove it today and the odo turned over 55k miles...

Then this PM I used the dremel tool to cut a hole in the tray of my arm rest so I could leave my little iPod on top instead of in the down under...that is where a nice pistol should go!

The stereo that it plugs in to is a CDR220 that looks PERFECT in the 928...I love my S4!

It wouldn't happen to be driver's side just inboard of the headlight would it? It may be the plastic nipple for the hose that connects the radiator to the reservoir.

Changed out the crumbled clutch release bushing to a white, shiny new one. Did it from the top, laying on top of the spider Also, put in a new heater valve.
Didn't do it today, but over last couple days. New all dash LED's, cleaned all dash contacts and tach. started working. Changed defrost vacuum actuator and went to change recirc. actuator which was also leaking. However, PO somehow had pulled the vacuum line to it. Reconnected and it's holding vacuum

Put in a new driver's side window switch. I could not get my window up before that...
And fixed the windshield washer ( replaced little tube connecting the hose in the hood with the feed)

fitted the 7 th of the new mercedes injectors into my 81 just one to do but its giving me a little trouble removing it.anyway it then ran super rich with the new injectors fitted so did a co adjustment by ear about 1/4 turn in i think its now running like a swiss watch.also adjusted my clutch peddle at the peddle for more clutch, was only just clearing gear when it got hot.so i'm all set for the test drive to work in the morning.i'm hopeful for a much smoother drive.was so impressed with my evenings work i even washed it.

Default Brembo

Picked up the parts to upgrade to Brembo 4 piston caliper brakes/rotors (S4)

Going to rebuild the upper and lower control arms before installed.

Imre, Heinrich installed the same seats in his S4. He had to cut some length off the rails & drill a few new holes. Also might have to swap out the seat belt recievers from a 944 or 911. Thank you James, the GT3 seats should be here next week. Should tie in nicely with what's going on inside. T

Tony, can you gut the side airbag? I wouldn't think it would be operable anyway, and I would guess they could be even lighter without that in the seat. I LOVE those seats though. The last 997 Turbo I was in had those and they are comfy!

Jon B, Not advised to gut the side air bags according to: https://rennlist.com/forums/993-turb...n-a-993-a.html But there might be a way. The side airbags will be inoperable for this application. I presume weight reduction would be minimal with airbag removal, so why bother? T

Too bad you can't splice the seat airbag wiring into the steering wheel/dash wiring to deploy at the same time...
