Awesome, just caught up with the Alfa Romeo/ Integra. Well done John and Dave. I think it's good without stickier tires and sway bars for the moment. it will put less strain on it. Money in RSG account

I think the integra is an inspired choice. I'm almost confident it will make it through all the drivers!

I think Pete and Tony used to share a car on one ticket. Could be wrong on that. Maybe it's only something we can do with RSG where we pay a flat fee.

My money is in.

Agree with others, run with tyres as they are and let everyone set a time and then do some mods if we still want to. Priorities are safety, so brakes (good fluid and reasonable competition pads and straight rotors with some meat). Make sure tyres have no cracks or bulges and then a spanner check. Worth checking steering as well.

I wouldn't worry about insurance unless we think it will be on the road a bit. Happy to look at option to leave in my garage at HD so it doesnt have to spend time on the road.

It would be in his interest to bring some more punters to the track. It's not going to put more cars on the track so they should be in favour of it.

I think we need to be careful running in a regular Playday group and an RSG group on the same day. That's a lot of laps with less cool down time and I suspect that will take its toll on our black beauty.

Good name for her, because after my efforts with wet and dry sandpaper she needs all the praise she can get.

In the RSG Group it doesn't matter though as we pay a fixed price for the group. Speaking of which we have a full 15 registered for 19/7. John and I will be playing catch up though with some times to chase.

I spoke with ChrisB and looks like I can store his boat at my place that he has in the second spot at his HD apt, and we can then keep the RSG car there. Eliminates need for insurance and finding a mule from my place.

John - I have a $75 regular session credit with Playday. Happy to use that to get the car in.

Peter/Sam - I'm now paid up for beater, 19th & shirts.

It may be easier to catch up as we can listen to the banter after the first six post their times to get some intell. Personally I'd be surprised if many get close to 1.27 on the first day. This is far more a momentum car than the flat 6 drivers are used to.

Great news on the parking. As the turkey that had to put his name on the rego I'm happy that I won't be getting any letters from the fuzz. It also means we can put the rego on hold if need be (although until Gul opens it still needs to go to Mercer). I'm not too worried about what you guys get up to on the 19th as long as you leave the rest of us with a car to use afterwards!

Good to have you in there Mark, just don't beat my time! I've driven 270km this weekend getting this deal done, but only 1km in FBB. Dave racked up 70km odd getting her home and will do the same getting her back to HD. Then she will be punted around HD all day, hopefully still ready for my turn later. Despite it being relatively small investments from everyone, Dave and I feel the pressure having spent the money.
