That poor guy. Regardless of the eventual outcome, he will always now associate the car with a major negative event. I'd be trying to get rid of it and any history ASAP. Better to start again and do it properly.

When I was looking initially I considered importing from the UK myself (and coincidentally ended up with an ex UK car) but when costing it I always factored in the cost of a trip over there. Don't think I could buy without seeing it for myself.

Yes please, I'll be over late morning. Got to change my wheels over to the gold D90's first.

I've got too many wheels. If any 964ers out there are looking for a set of track wheels, I have a spare set of 16" D90's and plenty of tyres that I'll never get to use. Get in before they go on trademe and have a set of original wheels that will have authentic value in the future :-)

Couple of fatal flaws there. I'd ride home on it but a roll cage is pushing it.

That's some thread - love the 1st page - it just draws you into the build. Very cool seeing the progress points. Think I will need to set aside a few hours to read fully.

Which leaves a question as to how to use the exterior access or to plug it up? Maybe a microphone for the GoPro?
