Perfect for me and it looks like it works for Pete. I just need to make sure my car is back from Pirongia for then. I will talk with Dan and Steve tomorrow.

Come on boys and girls, join us for the ecolight one day intro targa tour on March 2nd in the Pukekohe region.
http://targa.co.nz/ecolight-sprint-rally
$450 plus Gst
Driver and co driver need a m grade msnz licence, an easy multi-choice test.
Closed roads behind a fast lead car.
Closest you'll get to a real rally without doing the real thing
Designed to give you a taste/intro to the full multi day targa tours
For prestigio insurance requirements only you need telemetry. You can rent a track-it unit from TargaNZ for $100+Gst which covers that off.

Email them to book one in advance and then you're on the list to have it fitted on the day. They need to pre-register each unit with track-it and link it to your car in advance. Then on the day they stick your unit to the windscreen and jobs done. Hand back at end of day. If you have an accident and need the data for insurance purposes, TargaNZ have on-line access to the data that was recorded by your unit.

Coz you are driving as fast as your ***** will allow you to on a road you have never driven before. It takes a while to get your head around using both sides of the road and doing 150-ish kph around a blind corner on a road you have never driven before - even through the road is closed - do you trust your instincts to go flat out when you have no idea what is around the corner....?? There are enough Targa wrecks in Steve's shed to show you what happens to Pcar owners when your ***** get to big........... Driving the course in advance will give you a chance to find out what's around the blind corner........?? John - to give you an idea of Targa - the Ron convoy on the NITT was about 70% of the pace. At that speed you would we be at the back of the pack.......... .

Back in Auckland and first job finished - rough rims and Z221s are fitted.
They run true at urban speed limits so hopefully will do the same at the track. One thing is for sure, I won't be scared of running kerbs and ripple strips on Monday.
