However, When I get back to Taupo I'm thinking a private track hire (which I can swing no probs), and after we do a movie night at my place (thinking Steve McQueen Le mans) with good (but not expensive) accommodation at Huka Falls resort.
Garry from PN and CGT man from Napier and new dude from Rotorua - keen???
Keen - I have a house in Acacia Bay so could host a BBQ or movie etc there.

Not a good idea with air cooled cars when they are hot. The engine heat does a great job of killing grass.

C70, Soft compound, is the only one brought in regularly for 17". There is a seller on Trademe who has Medium compound for the 18" sizes.

True.

Four cars = 16 rims and tyres (excluding spares). A set of spare rims each for 996TT and C4 = 24 wheels in total.

Six new 18" Michelins and 4 used 18" Z221 = 30 tyres in total.

You can see why I'm looking at SITT options that use existing items. I may well have to put a new set of Z221s on the Fuchs if I change direction and take the C4.

Don't know. A great source of track rims and used tyres in Auckland at International Mororosport if they do.
