I was thinking about video today, there's some options; A pure track vid of a day at hd - we have them film for a day, the shots would be from fixed positions around the track and handheld with detail shots of the cars launching etc from around the pits. and combined with our various go pro footage. edited together slickly.
The other appealing footage is taken at dawn and dusk and into night when the light is softer and gives the cars a moodier look, a wide open squadron scene taken at the top hamptons area could be awesome! I can have a chat to the guys about what kind of cost this would be.

On a related note, I was just looking yesterday at track outline decals (e.g. http://www.trackdecals.com/collectio...ines-australia, yes the NZ tracks are under "Australia"). What do people think about these -- hot, or not? They come in various sizes and I'm sure we could get a good discount with a reasonable sized order. I can herd the cats on this one if people are interested.

Didn't see this one in time, but I'll take one. I won't stick it on until I actually get on the track!

Sure, added you to the list. One spare left. At the same time I ordered one each of the NZ tracks (not every configuration), so I'll bring them along and people can see if they like them. I figured the HD ones would be popular so it was a safe bet to order a few at the sale price... wishing I'd grabbed more now! As you said earlier, if we get a decent sized order for the other tracks together we may be able to negotiate a better price.
Did a little shopping for the GT3 during the sales too. Rennline lightweight battery mount and stud conversion kit and two sets of 7mm H&R spacers for an experiment.

Ordered my race numbers through them plus a driver country and name decal (for when altzheimers sets in). Couldn't decide on the other tracks. It will be good to see what yours look like.
