Part of the time usually - I find that I need to give it a blast on full after about 3 laps to clear the windows and then again towards the end of session. About half a lap each time. Sometimes open the windows a bit but find that less able to gauge engine noise. Won't be doing it on Sat though!!!!!

Im pretty much the same Pete. Dont like driving with the windows down on fast road or track, even in summer. Rather loose a few KW. Seen the result of an arm go out the window during a roll over? We dont have nets in our cars not that it helped Owen Evens much.

Depends how wet, a damp track is several seconds (for me anyway), for someone like yoda - probably only 2-3.

Definitely needs a badge John. Or failing that at the least a sticker for the back window (see below).
When is it going to the paint shop? Are you using Stefan (Hazlers)?

This is what i had in mind http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/...3.6%2520script
Reasonable price but a long wait and you want to coordinate other purchases to lessen freight.
Not sure about painting etc yet. People are recommending Topline as well. I'd like to have my badge and decal sorted, then just get it finished. A bit bummed it won't be at the track this weekend. Hopefully it will be all good for the 31st.

I really like the Carrera 3.6 badge.
The Porsche words on the bottom of the ducktail work best on long hoods as they don't have a reflector panel directly beneath them that says Porsche too, so IMHO I wouldn't do the Porsche script.

agree with Paul. You dont want to over decal it.
These guys are one of my favorite suppliers and I have bought a lot of outlaw badges and stickers from them over the years along with some other reproduction stuff (I used the Pegasus for a while and another on the Targa). I know Magnus uses them for a few things too (they do the rubber boot latches and leather straps for the 366 trunks etc). Very cool shop...

I have wet/road tires but the rims aren't getting here until next week for those. I'm reluctant to mount them on the Simmons only to put the RE55s back on them as I'm not sure how many more rim changes the RE55s have in them.
Damn weather!

964 C4 owners.
There is a thread on the 964 forum re seals for slave cylinders in our hydraulic system. If these cylinders leak the Porsche new unit is eye wateringly expensive e.g. Close to $1,000 for the diff lock unit.
Far cheaper insurance to order the seals ninemeister has had made up. $125 mailed to NZ for 2 sets. If you got in quickly you can use my mail cost and pay $100.
If you don't order now you may have trouble sourcing later.

Those C4s sure are spendy LOL!
Sean. My reading suggested the 221s should be a better wet weather tyre in soft compound than almost any other R compound. They have a better tread design than MPSCs for evacuating water and the only comparos Ive seen are between T1s, MPSC and 221s and the 221s won hands down in the wet. Only lots of standing water would make these slower than a road tyre on a wet track.

I have to figure out Targa tire. Probably going to go with the Hankook RS3s and if I had been thinking a little more I woulda had a set of those for testing this weekend. Oh well.
