I think I know that car. Chatted in the street about our cars before he sold it.

Hey guys looks like I (probably) am not on the rig for at least the first festival weekend - anyone got a spare bed up that way?

Hope so, if not, John takes a good shot at dawn on St Helliers beach.
Its a shame I have to fit the black centered fuchs for the festival, they are nice but not as nice as the deep sixes.

Hi Matt, my parents are staying with us that weekend but PM me if you get desperate. Hope you had a good Xmas!

Staying next to Rod Millens farm, he's setting up for Leadfoot Festival, looks stunning.

I semi offered accommodation to some SI visitors but I think they are a big group staying for both weekends, which may overwhelm the number of beds I have and my wife's patience level. We are also a fair way from HD. Still it's a possibility.

Looking great Dave. I wish I could say I'm finished.

Last night I hit the sack at 1:00am. I managed to fit the splitters to a level of finish I'm happy with. I also cleaned all four brake calipers.

The final work was/is my nemesis, the alternator / fan assembly.

The fan was hitting the shroud after a few seconds so I pulled it all apart. As the new fan is aluminium I filed the edges. Unfortunately I was missing a 13mm socket on reassembling most of it so I have pulled it apart again to find it. Not a great day.

Tomorrow should see the arrival of the heater delete pipe so I will have another go at this. To be honest I'm getting a bit worried as the Festival is fast looming and I still don't have 100% certainty I will have a car.

Yes, quite a difference between the things I'm tinkering with on the T to what you have got on. None of mine were essential works but not much else to do in the lull between holidays. Still, the festival is a few weeks away so you should be right.

Should be able to drive around the block tomorrow. That will be a test. I suppose Steve and Dan spent weeks doing the T so I'm not experiencing anything out of the ordinary. The actual timeframe is tight as I have yet to get a wof and alignment and there is a lot of social activity as well which eat up time.

Text me if you want to do a photo shoot at Kohi beach. Sunrise is 5:30 or so.

My house is empty and so I and Graeme Wong are staying there. We have another spare bedroom. PM me if you're still looking for digs. We are in One Tree Hill. Rest of the family will be at Oakura.
