Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?
Heres a link to the vertex info. Doesn't look too bad and should fit the smaller Rennline battery mount http://www.batterydirect.co.nz/index...-car-batteries

Think it was about $220. Chinese so I was a bit dubious but I've had over three years without issue. I keep it on a trickle. If I don't it'll still start after a couple of weeks without use.

How are the MPSC2 on the road in the wet?
Amazing how pink they still look? Bit annoyed my new lights are not as red as they could be..be interested to see how well the lense could be installed? I've never had seen these except for the center reflector so bought new complete units.

Meanwhile the parcels keep on arriving. Dizzy caps and rotors, trim, lots of small parts and a new innovation, rear lens replacements

Jake. The MPSC2 seem to be fine in the wet. They need a bit of heat in them tho and like most performance tyres they Aqua plane a bit with a lot of standing water. They wear pretty well with 180 tread wear...$3800 is too much for a set of 19s - I'm just about to buy my third set (for SITT to be fitted after Jan 11 RSG day) locally in NZ and was quoted $3328 fitted/balanced back in July (hope the price remains same will know tomorrow). That's for 245/305 20 inch so I would think your figment around $3200? Still bloody expensive I know....

Work it out yourselves guys, $2,000 plus for a whole new set or maybe $750 to reglass your existing ones

You've probably already thought of it John but just a thought on those new lenses. Since you mentioned you're looking to keep Herman long term. With NZ having pretty much the world's worst UV levels, it would likely be worth treating them with UV headlight protectant to keep them looking minty fresh for longer.

I had no idea either until I went to look at the site. Luckily I have a spare reflector to work on because I'll be nervous putting these in the oven.
Jesus. $500 NZD plus for a single new rear indicator lamp for a 964!!!! Unbelievable. I think it's probably time someone made a great replica foe $200 as happens without the 993.
That said the $250 per side lens only DIY is a viable alternative though you need to be an enthusiast to give it a try. They will be writing off 964 on light rear impact soon just for the cost of the bumper, indicators and rear reflectors!! Make sure it's insured for the track next season John!!
Jake. Just received the invoice for the tyres. Appears price held. Will email introduce you to the suppliers By PM and you can ask for a quote for PSS & MPSC2 etc.

Lucky you've got spares. I'm not sure without a spare i'd be willing to risk writing off such a an expensive part. Unfortunately i sold my take off's when i did the replacements. You'd also need a good size oven to do the center reflector. I just know i'd f' it up
