Phew, was just looking at Manthey's 3.9L conversion (+60HP, -7kg) at £20k.

Graeme. The sessions are typically 15 minutes with 45 down in between. Theres plenty of time for brakes etc to cool down. Running with shorter intervals than this I would suggest you will only need a second set of wheels with race tyres and a race jack. My advise would be to cycle sets of tyres between the two of you so each set gets plenty of cool down time. The car will likely be strong enough to handle the double sessions (assumes fresh fluids, pads etc) but the tyres will be "off" alot if only one set used...

Good to have you on board. You are our 10th man! And probably out most experienced driver!

Here is the Prestigio contact.

thx Macca looking fwd to meeting you all. I need a set of new tyres anyway cos the existing set although they have lots of tread are cycled out and have lost performance already. might bring the old tyres on a second set of rims. But too much hassle to change between sessions. keep it low key and have fun I reckon.
Will ring Litisha shortly

Insurer is Prestigio. http://prestigio.co.nz/contact

Yep to both - see you there.

Can't believe how quick they filled the 2nd SI group. Shows what demand there is.

No 2nd thread. Playday filled the first group for the south island tour but due to demand have created a 2nd prestige/Porsche group. I got notified this morning but understand that by mid afternoon all 10 spots were gone also. So pretty high demand. Did you try and book? There may still be general car spots open.
