Ah well, after a 3 year break I'm back, and this thing is brutal!

07 997 Turbo. 6 speed manual. Black/black, carbon, sports seats and lots of other bits and pieces.

It's so different to the 360 in every way. VERY fast car, but the grip is just amazing. I used to think the 993 and even the 04 GT3 was good, but this, for my driving style is insane.

I love being back with a manual as well. I had forgotten how much more I enjoyed it. F1 was great fun though.

The tyre noise is typical Porsche, but the fit and finish is so superior. I thought I'd miss the 360, but so far all I want to do is look at my new car!

Hi Bob
I will take some once and post them when Ive cleaned it up a bit.
I often think about that C2S of yours. I can only imagine what it would be worth these days! Crazy money I expect like most air coolers.
Might catch you sometime at an event.
Cheers

Thanks. I'd consider selling but I've seen what happens to ex 964 Turbo owners; they never really recover.

Warwick, met your neighbour today, Neil.. Nice guy.. nice car..
He's mates with Ron too, so encouraged him to SITT, as his car would be ideal..

No, he's too far away from all of us to do track days etc and now living 50 metres from the ocean he "needs" a boat. They have the T86 for b-road runs. I hope he doesn't sell it before our next weekend up there.
