I've got to do more research. In and out of third world wifi so having a bit of trouble loading suitable photo's. From what I can see 930 type wider Fuchs have a sloping rim profile from the florets which then turns flat, not a step. I'm certainly no expert on Fuchs but these look different somehow.

A strong sense of self preservation will still be there but yes insurance may remove some conservatism. I have purchased Mike's track manual and 2k cup driving will help on technique. I suspect nailing turn 1 and the sweeper will give the biggest gains. It's where Paul picked up much of his time in the 993 versus mine in the 964. There's less to gain in the twisties. Whether a specific time is the goal, I'm not so sure. I'll count the next year a success if we place well in the 2k cup. Racing is the best test of improvement as conditions are the same for all competitors in each race.

I bought the wife an A1 (Sport Plus, good fun) as well so she can work between that or my truck if she needs a bit more space.

I have a set of genuine 76 C3 7&8's sitting in my garage - they only wiegh about 8 kg's with a tire on, you lift them with 1 hand.
My fav Pcar rim, maybe even more so than a 993 RS Speedline

For those of you old enough, there used to be a lot of retail advertising audio power hype in the '80s e.g. Peak power vs RMS. I wonder if jacks are the same? The reason I ask is that my new AC Jack is rated 1,300kg whereas the race Jack is rated to 1,500kg. Someone must have it wrong as I figure the AC Jack is likely stronger even taking the leverage on the longer arm into account.
