Ladies and Gents,

The PCNZ track day on 18 July 2015 has received 35 registrations out of 40 spaces.

It looks like this event is going to be over-subscribed.

Now is the time to enter if you are contemplating it?

Cheers

Glad you are having fun mate. Not sure how you managed to get a job that takes you to the Porsche Factory every year??
Yes, I fluked that one but this holiday is on my own ticket and I won't bore the family with a factory tour but will plant them in the Konigstrasse while I do the museum at least.
I was hoping that yesterdays 7 hour 'bahn blast would flush out all the sunday classic P car drivers but not so - might have been the 39 degree heat that kept them all at home. Only the moderns were out.

Red 1982 SC Reg "Douce" sitting on Albert St today.

I'm not sure whihc translation they were hoping for. In English it could be "fresh, suave
soft, tender, mild; smooth; quiet, gentle; meek, clement; bland, genial; silken, sweet
"

I would doubt it if only 3-4 964's attending. You may need to slum it with the Caymans or even the lowly 944s...

It looks like we could have 8 964s, 1 964 maybe, 2 993s and several pre 1989 air cooled units. I think we may yet have an air cooled squad John.

I hope so. That group was great fun last time at the arrive and drive.

Peter, you're not on the list. Aren't you going?

I third that. A air cooled group would be fun. All clattering around together

Yeah - there is even a 993 C4S entered!!! (I thought people just collected these - not actually drove them?)

There will be an air cooled group I think?

We are actually light on faster stuff, so may need to mix the groups up a little. There is a surprising number of air cooled and boxsters?

I'm hoping for more of a rumble followed by a scream at WOT. I just need the services of a quality welder.

RSG aside probably plenty of newbies. I think the GT3 brigade mostly hang out with RSG these days (last count 11 or 12 members with GT3 and 4 with GT4 inbound). As long as it's dry....

Yep - I was a bit slow in registering but am hanging out for a good non-race day. Throw some old tyres back on and no stress about lap times.

Think there will be a few newbies with fast cars though. Not keen on sitting behind a 997/991 coming out of T1 only to be stuck behind until the sweeper only for it to drag race up the straight and repeat lap after lap. Will see how much Paul likes being policeman

That's a real possibility, but it should be sortable after the first sessional it occurs. With 40 cars in total we should be able to have four 10-car groups with closely grouped performance. The other option is to hang back with the GoPro on waiting for the Pucker moments.
