Apart from one of the "Mustang owners club" going down a bank and a cyclist decided his Sunday morning workout was more important, ran smoothly.
Last SS was 15 sec time slots to get it wrapped up before 3:30.
Don't think they are doing a bambina this yea? But I could be wrong ..

Thanks for the pics. Brings back some of the better memories of last year's event. If compressing the time slots is the worst that happened, then they are improving.

Targa Bambina 2015 is the Rotorua event starting 14 May, and a good bunch of us are looking forward to it: http://targa.co.nz/targa-bambina-2015

Scott's car. Razzo built the motor. I'm sworn to secrecy on the build cost, Scott's wife doesn't know...

re discussion on AF Ratios that I think John was talking about ...
Here are some pics from my readout (hidden behind a dash panel to preserve the classic look)
at idle then 2k and 3k static no load on car in neutral and clutch in, The car runs rich.
remember my car is mechanical no ECU mapping just a very expensive fuel pump

Thanks for the data points Graeme. I'm doing my research this week to see how I connect a 5 wire WB sensor to a 4 wire harness. If I get that done I could be logging my AFR on the PCNZ run on Sunday. Albeit an oil change is equally important, just have to find an oil pan that takes 10 litres otherwise I will have a very slippery garage floor.

Noooo. Why would they do that Shannon?? That requires forward planning and common sense. Plus I'm certain councils think Targa drivers like gravel and pot holes ....

He rebuilt the motor in my girlfriend's datsun 1600/p510 about ten years ago. Still runs sweetly and reliably. He's currently building another datsun motor for a family member, which will no doubt come back far too nice for the 260c that it's out of

A slow night. Macca must still be in the dog box or using his limited time to post about the GT3RS

Just saw this about bags, but a number of us could change it into the following about cars.

"My fear is that I shall die and my wife will sell my cars for what I said I spent on them"

John I have a 13l oil pan from SCA which you're welcome to. Pick it up on the way from the airport?
